Hello world!

December 10th, 2008 by johnsmith

I’ve just been given my very own section of the JET Team A Personalized Report System. I’ve noticed that it’s sparsely used, but Dr. Ross suggests I start using it as a kind of diary of my activities, particularly those when deployed on Team A, in the hopes that doing so may jog my memory.

As it stands now, my mind is still recovering from the kaleidoscopic overload of new and interesting phenomena that I encountered during the Manhattan deployment. Ghosts, demons, monkeys, vampires, out of control storms, french assassins, sane people, insane people (often the same people), fortune tellers, fire, airplanes, spaceships, technomages, emperors, astronauts, hivers, radio plays from mysterious sources, cities made from unsustainable structural elements, singers, revolutions, swords, guns, mysterious men in tall hats whose name I’m not supposed to mention, teenagers, and spoons.

None of which triggered any real memories, but I did at least find my skills with machinery to be quite useful. On the other side, I found that I seem to lack even basic memories of religion, and music, while it seems sort of familiar, isn’t quite… right.

I’ll write more once I’ve sorted out the initial impressions - The most important one, though, is how well I seemed to fit within the Team A group.  They’re an odd bunch, but they made me feel welcome, and my own oddness seems to fit in well.  I look forward with working with them more in the future.
